    [ English ]

The goal of a Backgammon match is to move your chips around the game board and get those pieces off the board quicker than your challenger who works harder to achieve the same buthowever they move in the opposing direction. Succeeding in a match in Backgammon needsrequires both strategy and good luck. How far you will be able to move your checkers is left to the numbers from rolling the dice, and the way you shift your checkers are decided on by your overall gambling strategies. Enthusiasts use a number of techniques in the differing stages of a game based on your positions and opponent’s.

    The Running Game Tactic

The goal of the Running Game plan is to entice all your chips into your home board and bear them off as quick as you could. This strategy concentrates on the pace of advancing your checkers with little or no time spent to hit or stop your opponent’s chips. The best time to employ this strategy is when you believe you can shift your own chips faster than your opposing player does: when 1) you have a fewer checkers on the game board; 2) all your checkers have past your opponent’s chips; or 3) your opposing player doesn’t use the hitting or blocking tactic.

    The Blocking Game Strategy

The primary aim of the blocking technique, by the name, is to block your opponent’s chips, temporarily, while not worrying about shifting your pieces quickly. As soon as you’ve established the barrier for the opponent’s movement with a few pieces, you can shift your other pieces swiftly off the board. You will need to also have a good plan when to withdraw and shift the pieces that you used for the blockade. The game becomes intriguing when the opposition uses the same blocking tactic.
